CLARK GREEN CITY SOLAR FARM

Electricity from the Sun  

The Clark Green City Solar Farm is a 100-MW solar electric power generating facility developed in joint collaboration between SUNRAY POWER, INC. and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).


Clark Green City is a Master Planned New Community developed by BCDA that will include government agencies, business, educational institutions, agri-forestry research and innovation hub  industry and tourism. According to BCDA, Clark Green City is intended to be a green and intelligent city promotion inclusive growth and enhancing the Philippines global competitiveness. The development will transform the way cities are conceived and built and set a new benchmark in the Philippines and the world.


Located on a 260-hectares parcel of land in the Clark Special Economic Zone, the Clark Green City Solar Farm anticipates interconnecting to the National Grid of the Philippines (NGCP) under the Feed-in-Tariff Program pursuant to the Philippine Renewable Energy Law (R.A. 9513) and/or via BCDA under the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) regulations of EPIRA (RA 9136) 


Excess power can also be sold to the Wholesale Electric Spot Market or WESM through the National Grid or NGCP transmission system under a "Must-Take" and "Priority Dispatch" basis pursuant to RA 9513.
